- 12: The Swedish SAC gives the Civil Courage award to Niklas Svenlin for removing pornographic magazines from the gas station where he worked.[1]

- Unknown date: The “Our Home” social centre is founded in Wuhan, China. This becomes the first explicitly anarchist group active in China since 1949. They translate Kropotkin and other anarchist texts into China.[2]
