- 6: A mountain near the US-Canada border in British Columbia, Canada is named "Anarchist Mountain" after an eccentric prospector who called himself an anarchist.[1]
December[]
- 18: Pietro Ferrero is captured and tortured by a fascist gang in Turin, Italy. He is then tied to a truck which drives around, killing him. His body is dumped next to a statue of Italy's king.[2]
- 30: Ricardo Cipolla is shot and killed while acting in a play in Brazil. His killer wanted to be a police officer.[3]
- Unknown date: The International Workers' Association (IWA-AIT) is formed at an anarcho-syndicalist conference in Berlin. The IWA represents 1.2 million workers from Italy, Portugal, Argentina, Germany, France, Sweden, Mexico, the Netherlands, Chile, Norway and Denmark. The 600,000-strong CNT is unable to attend due to political repression in Spain.[4]
